Job summary

TMC Metal (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Section Chief to lead safe, efficient refinery/smelting operations, plan production schedules, allocate manpower and drive quality and delivery targets.

You will coach production personnel, monitor performance, lead preventive maintenance, and coordinate with maintenance, warehouse, quality and HQ to achieve objectives while upholding ISO and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily refinery/smelting production activities.
• Plan production schedules, furnace loading and manpower allocation.
• Ensure production targets, quality standards and delivery schedules are achieved.
• Analyse production performance and implement process improvements.
• Monitor productivity, efficiency and equipment utilisation.
• Lead preventive maintenance planning to minimise equipment downtime.
• Manage production inventory and optimise material usage.
• Ensure compliance with company Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Management Systems.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements.
• Lead, coach and develop production personnel to build a high-performing team.
• Coordinate closely with Production, Maintenance, Warehouse, Quality and HQ to achieve operational goals.
