Job Description

The Recruiter is responsible for Service Excellence throughout the recruitment cycle. They act as a brand ambassador for the client, focused on delivering exceptional talent while providing proactive and timely communication on the search status. They serve as a subject matter expert in talent acquisition, offering consultative guidance and industry expertise to hiring leaders.

Location Specifics: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Specific Needs: End-to-end IT/Technical recruitment for the Malaysian market; stakeholder management.

Language Requirement: Native Language; English

Position Setup: Onsite

Shift Schedule: Regular day shift (APAC)

Responsibilities:

• Finding Candidates:
• Lead detailed job scope meetings with hiring leaders to determine specifications, providing market data and search strategies.
• Review candidates via ATS, evaluate qualifications, and determine progression in the process.
• Develop sourcing plans, utilize resume databases, search engines, networking sites, and solicit referrals.

• Engaging Candidates:
• Use various media to connect with talent, articulate value propositions, prepare candidates for interviews, and provide timely updates.

• Assessing Candidates:
• Draft interview templates, compare interview notes, issue skills tests, and review background checks.

• Influencing the Hire:
• Maintain engagement, partner with hiring leaders on offers, and negotiate as needed.

• Service Excellence:
• Adhere to regulations, build talent pipelines, provide regular reports, identify challenges, and communicate proactively.

Qualifications

Education:

• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s preferred.

Experience:

• At least two years of recruiting success in corporate, RPO, or agency settings, with experience in ATS and social media tools.

Skills and Abilities:

• Proficient in Boolean sourcing, Microsoft Office, and familiar with HR principles related to talent acquisition.
