We are recruiting for a General Accountant for GTM. This role will mainly involve in Go To Market operation, support the continuous improvement initiatives and involve in the back-up of operational tasks within the GTM/Staff Team. And also minimize the number of workflow escalations by ensuring all work are processed within agreed service timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Go To Market

Perform check and clearing of SIT on weekly and monthly report

Prepare daily and monthly Sales and A&P report

Process journal from Opco on time

Create & Edit WBS creation, Maintenance and settlement

Execute monthly product costing

Prepare D&S accrual, monthly FI COPA posting including reconcile FI VS COPA and investigate on any unassigned amount in COPA

On Time execution of all Smart close related activities

Drive continuous improvement in their areas of operation

2. Service Management

Minimize the number of workflow escalations by ensuring all work are processed within agreed service timelines.

Ensure OpCo queries/issues are attended to and resolved in a timely, responsible and proactive manner.

Overall Responsibilities:

Participate in month end operational discussions (pre-close meeting, postmortem meetings etc) within GBS and OpCo.

Perform Balance Sheet reconciliation and identify/follow up/ define action for long aged items.

Ensure timely and accurate preparation of reports for OpCo, local government reporting as well as any agreed ad hoc reports required by OpCo.

Participate in any compliance audits and respond to audit queries.

To back up, assist with and perform GTM tasks as and when required.

Perform other duties as and when delegated, including job rotation to other functional teams as and when required.

Drive continuous improvement in their areas of operation.

To succeed in this role, we will need you to have:

Degree in Accounting/Finance. Professional qualification will be an added advantage.

Working experience in a finance related area minimum of 3 years

Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.

Good attention to detail with good analytical skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to handle multiple activities successfully.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Proactive and willingness to learn.

Strong working knowledge of Ms Office applications, particularly Excel.

Operating knowledge of SAP systems (preferably)

Shared service experience is an added advantage
