Job description

Job Title: Receptionist

Location:TRX, Kuala Lumpur

Employment Type: Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM 6:00 PM

Salary Range: RM2,500 to RM3,000 (Basic)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests and clients in a professional and courteous manner
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls to the appropriate departments
  • Manage front desk operations, including receiving parcels, letters, and deliveries
  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the reception area
  • Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings
  • Perform basic administrative and clerical duties (filing, photocopying, data entry, etc.)
  • Provide assistance to other departments as needed
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and coordinate restocking
  • Ensure compliance with visitor policies and internal protocols

Requirements:

  • Minimum SPM qualification
  • Pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English (both spoken and written)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Prior experience in a receptionist or front desk role is an advantage
  • Punctual, reliable, and able to multitask
  • Presentable appearance and good communication in English
