Job summary

KPJ Batu Pahat Specialist Hospital is seeking a Radiographer to provide polite, efficient X-ray services and support in emergencies. The role includes handling imaging modalities, supervising equipment, and contributing to daily operations with the Chief Radiographer and team.

Qualified candidates will have a Diploma/ Degree in Medical Imaging, 1+ year experience, BLS, and strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills, plus a team-oriented approach to patient care.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Medical Imaging or equivalent qualification.
• At least 1 year of relevant radiography experience.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality X-ray imaging to patients following policies.
• Operate diagnostic imaging modalities and accept doctor/consultant requests.
• Assist in training new staff and supervise maintenance/PPM tasks.
• Ensure safety, dose optimization, and compliance with ISO and safety standards.
