Job summary

ALTY Orthopaedic Hospital in Kuala Lumpur invites a skilled Radiographer to join our Imaging Department. You will perform radiographic examinations, position patients, and ensure safe, high-quality images in line with protocols. You will work with radiologists and nurses, maintain records, and participate in QA and ongoing professional development.

English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency is preferred. A Diploma or Bachelor in Medical Imaging with at least 2 years of experience is required, with

• Minimum of Diploma / Bachelor in Medical Imaging, Radiography or Diagnostic Imaging.
• Minimum 2 years of experience including experience in handling various kinds of Medical Imaging modalities
• Good communications skills, initiative and passion for patient care.
• Able to adapt and flexible to changes within the organization
• Able to work in minimal supervision
• A good team player, a detailed and result oriented person.
• Good communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability in other languages is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge and understanding in Hospital Policies and Procedures and inter department clinical / non clinical processes & also IT literate.
• Analyze and understanding to determine appropriate course of actions in complex situations

Responsibilities

Job description

The Radiographer is responsible for providing safe, efficient, and high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients in accordance with established clinical protocols, radiation safety requirements, departmental procedures, and professional standards. The role involves performing radiographic examinations, ensuring appropriate patient care and positioning, operating imaging equipment safely, maintaining image quality, participating in quality assurance activities, and supporting the smooth daily operation of the Imaging Department.

Key responsibilities

Perform X-ray and other imaging examinations safely and efficiently.

Prepare, position, and communicate with patients during examinations.
