Job Responsibilities

1. Execution of trials in various crops.
2. Plan and execute production trials in coordination with R&D seed production officer.
3. Develop standard protocols and sowing windows for production trials.
4. Execute scheduled production trials in the seed production chain, complying with phytosanitary protocols.
5. Conduct seed harvesting and extraction following standard procedures with proper labeling practices.
6. Implement agreed protocols from seed extraction to seed delivery.
7. Manage the agronomy of trials.
8. Develop good agronomy practices to meet production targets.
9. Maintain crops using good agronomy practices.
10. Follow crop-specific agronomy based on trial requirements.
11. Maintain trials for accurate observations and timely selections.
12. Keep records of agronomy practices.
13. Collect and record trial data as per crop needs.
14. Generate and manage data digitally for easy access and analysis.
15. Follow standard labeling practices.
16. Coordinate with the farm team for activity planning and trial maintenance.
17. Plan and communicate trial material needs based on seed production plans and purchases, obtaining necessary approvals quarterly.
18. Manage daily workforce to achieve production targets.
19. Ensure clear and timely communication through proper channels.
20. Report monthly on trials and stock requirements.
