Job Overview

Summary:

As a bulk cable test technician for TE Connectivity, your focus will be on bulk cable verification-validation testing. This role is expected to independently work on bulk cable SI testing and physical test confirmation while the Test and Validation Engineer completes validation for the product and test system design, including hardware selection and programming, to support bulk cable testing during NPI in Penang.

Responsibilities:

• NPI Bulk Cable SI Test: Follow bulk cable SI test procedures to prepare fixtures, perform tests, and check/confirm SI test results.
• NPI Bulk Cable SI Test Report: Summarize test results and provide feedback to bulk cable PDE and MPDE after testing.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or higher qualification.
• Familiarity with office software.
• Experience with high-speed cable/cable assembly testing.
• Experience with high-speed test equipment such as Digital Sampling Oscilloscopes, Vector Network Analyzers, Bit Error Rate Testers, TDR, Pattern Generators, Power Supplies, etc.
• Ability to interpret test/lab data to identify issues.
• Highly motivated, quick learner, and able to work independently.
