R&D Frontend Engineer II — React/TypeScript

Job summary

Keysight Technologies is seeking an experienced Front-end Engineer to collaborate with peers in building sustainable, well-defined components and introducing innovative features to our existing product.

You will work in an AGILE environment, enhance front-end performance, support sprint development and releases, and ensure code quality through reviews and best practices. The role involves gathering requirements and guiding the development team to implement solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a software-related discipline, from an accredited college or university.
• At least 3 years of frontend development experience.
• Must have hands‑on experience in software development toolsets (IDE, graphical and numerical libraries, performance, and memory usage profilers etc.).
• Must have programming skills in Javascript and Typescript. Mobile development is an added plus
• Must have hands‑on experience in Node.js
• Must have hands‑on experience in ReactJs and angular.
• Knowledge of Angular, Redux/NgRx, HTML, CSS, SCSS, Node.js, GIT, and NPM.
• Experience supporting multiple platforms such as iOS, Android, Mac, Windows and Windows Phone is an added plus.
• Proven success working in a team-oriented environment and demonstrated problem‑solving skills.
• Must have an ability to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems

Responsibilities

• Work in an AGILE team to turn innovative ideas into robust software and solve complex design and implementation problems.
• Working with the team for front-end performance improvement.
• Support sprint development and releases.
• Code Review and Best Practices implementation.
• Work with the product owner and scrum master to define and implement the requirement.
• Gather requirements and functional specifications, assess the current software systems in place to identify areas in need of improvement and oversee the development team.
