About The Job

As a Dev‑Ops Engineer, you will maintain and support the architecture of the existing product, maintain our Big Data tools and frameworks, keep servers running, and deploy code by collaborating with development teams.

About The Team

We are part of the Product Development team responsible for the growth of the Keysight businesses. The team includes a Manager, Architect, Data Engineer, Data Scientist, and UI/UX designer, and we work to deliver a feature-rich, highly performant product with well‑designed architecture.

Responsibilities

• Deploy code changes to different environments.
• Support the IT team in applying security patches and planned downtime.
• Ensure applications run as expected and monitor system resources, taking remedial action as needed.
• Work with peers in an AGILE team to achieve sprint goals.
• Create CI/CD scripts for auto‑deployment of new features.
• Scale resources based on data load.
• Help the team move to the latest technology stack.
• Maintain system and application health and security.
• Use tools and technologies to robust the complete SDLC process.
• Turn innovative ideas into robust software and solve complex design and implementation problems.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related software discipline from an accredited college or university.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience maintaining Big Data tools and services.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Selenium, Jenkins, and JIRA.
• Experience with container platforms like OpenShift, Kubernetes, or Docker.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible (preferred), Chef, or Puppet.
• Experience with version control tools such as GitLab or Bitbucket.
• Experience in Linux environments, Linux networking, and shell scripting.
• Experience with vulnerability and security management is a plus.
• Proven success working in a team‑oriented environment with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in bringing up Hadoop clusters and installing various packages.
• Experience implementing and deploying high‑volume, highly available, cloud‑based systems.
• Proactive and eager nature for tackling new challenges.
