Purpose of the Job
  • Design, develop, and execute PLC software for new product development, improvements, and customized designs.
  • Design and develop electrical and control solutions for new products.
  • Plan resources and support project managers and lead engineers in new initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to establish product concepts, verify designs, and respond to design changes.
  • Provide technical support to the product engineering, production, and servicing teams for Bromma CSP and CME product lines.
Key Accountabilities
  • Develop software related to new product development.
  • Improve existing and new products, components, systems, and processes.
  • Develop testing and verification procedures in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Evaluate product performance against technical specifications and customer requirements.
  • Document development activities and progress.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in Software, Electrical, or Control Engineering.
  • Experience: At least 3 years in electrical/control feedback loop design, with experience in industrial machinery or crane control systems.
  • Skills: Proficiency in CoDeSys platform tools (IL, ST, LD, FBD, SFC), experience with Siemens PLCs, programming languages like C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, and familiarity with electrical standards and CE compliance.
  • Competencies: Ability to work independently, deliver results, solve problems, be proactive, hands-on with tools, and work well in a team.
