Overview

Design electrical and electronic systems, mainly control circuitry and PCB for air-conditioning systems using advanced Zuken CAD to fulfil product requirements, EMC regulation compliance, quality & workability, cost, etc.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical and electronic systems, mainly control circuitry and PCB for air-conditioning systems using advanced Zuken CAD to fulfil product requirements, EMC regulation compliance, quality & workability, cost targets.
• Collaborate as part of a cross-functional team with internal groups (Software, Structure, System Performance, Product Regulation and Product Safety) and external partners (EMS, manufacturing, procurement, component makers) to refine the design and support/ensure smooth production.
• Analyse, evaluate and improve the complete product to controller down to part levels, including design calculations, EMC compliance to IEC and Japan standards, evaluation of system’s power electronics, evaluation of controller functional & microprocessor operation, and evaluation of part reliability and safety.
• Apply above learned skills/knowledge to create viable solutions for product designs and generate/evaluate concepts for technical merits.
