Responsibilities

• Managing assigned product portfolio is the main responsibility of the R&D Chemist. This includes designing experiments to develop new products and optimising formulations, managing issues related to the product formulations, follow through with monitoring plans, and preparation of data sheets and reports.
• Conduct in-depth studies of test standards and specifications, regulations and compliances, and any other relevant technical documents.
• Leading investigations of product or process failures; identifying root cause in addition to implementing corrective and preventive measures.
• Other support responsibilities include improving production efficiency, managing raw materials, developing test methods and product specifications.

Requirements

• Chemistry or Engineering Bachelor’s Degree in a recognised higher education institute.
• Experience in related industry is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as well.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
• Great interpersonal and communication skills; able to communicate fluently and effectively with various levels of stakeholders.
• Great time management and able to deliver quality work within the agreed timeline.
