Responsibility
- Develop new hot meal recipes and improve existing menu items.
- Conduct product research, recipe formulation, and cooking trials.
- Standardise recipes, cooking methods, and product specifications.
- Prepare product costing and recommend cost-effective ingredients without compromising quality.
- Work closely with Production, Operations, Purchasing, and Quality Assurance during product development.
- Conduct product evaluations, sensory testing, and shelf-life assessments.
- Ensure all products comply with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
- Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), recipe cards, and production guidelines.
- Support product launches by providing training and technical guidance to production and operations teams.
- Source and evaluate new ingredients, equipment, and food trends to support innovation.
- Troubleshoot product quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of product development activities and trial results.
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Experience infusion cuisine, including the preparation of onigiri, sandwiches, handheld foods, and packaged ready-to-eat meals.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
