Job summary

Sydney Cake House Sdn Bhd, a well-established frozen bakery producer in Malaysia, is seeking a diligent R&D support profile. The role involves shelf-life testing, handling product samples, evaluating raw materials and assisting the R&D team on trials and projects.

The candidate will contribute to presentations for customers during factory visits, maintain neat R&D areas, and collaborate closely with the R&D team to drive product quality and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform shelf-life testing for new and existing products through internal sensory evaluations and external lab testing.
• Prepare, label, pack and coordinate the delivery of product samples according to sales and customer requirements.
• Assist in evaluating existing and new raw materials, including recording trial results, compiling evaluation reports and providing feedback to the R&D team.
• Prepare and serve product samples for customers and other visitors during factory visits, ensuring professional presentation according to their requirements.
• Assist the R&D superior and team with daily R&D activities, trials and assigned projects.

Requirements
