Assist in printing, filing, and distributing product drawings to relevant departments (e.g., Production, QA).

Maintain and organize digital and physical filing systems for R&D documents.

Support in preparing and updating Bill of Materials (BOM), fitting lists, and packaging documents.

Help prepare carton size drawings and packaging methods based on guidance from R&D team.

Assist with packaging sample setup and documentation for production reference.

Monitor and follow up on drawing approvals or feedback from other departments.

Perform basic clerical duties such as data entry, photocopying, and document scanning.

Help maintain office cleanliness and support 5S activities in the R&D workspace.

Assist in preparing materials for meetings, sample reviews, and presentations.

Any other ad hoc duties assigned by the superior/management.

Requirements:

Minimum SPM/STPM/Diploma or equivalent.

Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and file management).

Able to communicate and work well with different departments.

Good attention to detail and time management skills.

Willing to learn and support the team in a fast-paced environment.

Interest in furniture industry or product development is a bonus (but not required).

COMPANY HISTORY

Takashima Woodwork Sdn Bhd was registered on 27 April 1992 at the Register of Companies, Malaysia.

Our production officially started in May 1993 with factory build up of 18,298 square feet and warehouse with 5,400 square feet. Initially it concentrates on manufacturing component parts of coffee table only. The entire component parts were mainly exported to Japan.

Since November 1995, we have extended the factory with another 10,764 square feet for Ultra Violet Finishing Line setup for complete coffee tables which are also mainly exported to Japan. We are specialized in manufacturing veneer top coffee tables with U.V. Finishing.

As business expanded, further in year 2005, we extended a new block which consisted another 28,749 square feet for table top finishing line. At the moment, our company not only produces Japanese coffee table but we also manufacture beds, living tables, student desks and chairs.

The company consists of 300 workers. Our factory has facilities such as canteen, surau, water dispenser and etc.

Future intention is to divert into worldwide market with a new range of products promosing high quality living and occasional tables.

We are now a manufacturer of premium quality tables and chairs, catering mainly to the Japanese market.
