A leading company in construction is hiring a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage tendering processes, prepare cost estimates, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient project delivery. Candidates should have relevant educational background and experience in the field. This role emphasizes cost control, analysis, and effective communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience for Executive level, 3 to 5 years for Senior Executive.
• Familiarity with JKR tender is an advantage.
• Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English required, Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Tender Documents and conduct Feasibility Studies.
• Control and monitor project costs, ensuring budgets are maintained.
• Identify opportunities for cost-saving during design and construction.

Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor

To participate in tendering for new projects.

Responsible in taking off quantities and calling for quotations.

Collaborate with internal teams including construction, engineering, procurement and commercial to gather technical and cost information for competitive tenders and Value Engineering Proposal.

Analyze tender documents, drawings, specifications and terms & conditions to develop accurate cost estimates and well-structured proposals.

Property Development Division

Prepare Tender Documents including BQ and cost estimation.

Conduct Feasibility Studies to access project viability.

Evaluate tenders from contractors/sub-contractors.

Appointment of contractors/sub-contractors and prepare letter of award.

Control and monitor project costs, ensuring budgets are maintained from inception to completion.

Identify opportunities for cost-saving or value engineering during the design and construction stages.

Advise on the most efficient and cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality and meeting project objectives.

Interim Certificate preparation & Final account.

Carry out other job assignments as and when required by the immediate superior.

Ad-hoc assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

Preferably Executives specializing in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

At least 1 year of working experience in the related field for Executive level, and 3 to 5 years for Senior Executive level.

Familiar with JKR tender will be an additional advantage.

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English,Mandarin will be an additional advantage.
