Responsibilities

  • Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
  • Monitoring and controlling project costs, including forecasting and reporting.
  • Negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Providing expert advice on contractual and commercial matters.
  • Preparing progress claims, valuations, and final accounts.
  • Identifying and mitigating financial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborating with project team to ensure successful project delivery.

Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor

Meru Perkasa Sdn Bhd is a leading construction and property development company based in Malaysia with over two decades of experience, we deliver high quality building and civil engineering works for both government and private sectors.

In May 2025, we signed MOU with TAR UMT to collaborate with the university to build an AI- Powered, open source platform that boosts innovation, digital transformation and efficiency in Malaysia's property development and construction industry.

With our continuing growth, we are expanding our team.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
  • Monitoring and controlling project costs, including forecasting, reporting and variance analysis
  • Negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers, subcontractors and other stakeholders
  • Providing expert advice on contractual and commercial matters to project teams
  • Preparing progress claims, valuations and final accounts
  • Identifying and mitigating financial risks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborating with managers, engineers and the project team to ensure successful of the project delivery
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Quantity Survey or equivalent
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Confident with written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu
