Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quantity Surveyor to support our project team in managing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects. The ideal candidate will work under the guidance of senior team members to ensure cost-effective project delivery while maintaining quality and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
  2. Conduct measurement and take-offs from drawings and site surveys.
  3. Support procurement activities, including sourcing and evaluating suppliers and subcontractors.
  4. Assist in contract administration and ensure adherence to contractual terms.
  5. Monitor project progress and update cost reports.
  6. Help manage variations, claims, and final accounts.
  7. Perform site visits and coordinate with site teams when necessary.
  8. Maintain proper documentation and records of all quantity surveying activities.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant work experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • Basic knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and pricing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of QS software (e.g., AutoCAD) is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
