Key Responsibilities:
- Dimensional and Quality Inspection:
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of incoming parts using tools such as digital calipers, profilometers, height gauges, micrometers, and other inspection equipment.
- Operate and handle 3D scopes (an added advantage).
- Electrical Functional Testing:
- Perform electrical functional tests on parts and components to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R):
- Conduct GR&R studies to evaluate the precision and reliability of measurement systems.
- Drawing Interpretation:
- Review and interpret engineering drawings based on ASME Y14.5M standards to perform accurate inspections.
- Non-Conformance Handling:
- Identify and verify non-conforming items during inspections.
- Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for any discrepancies.
- Timely Inspection:
- Ensure all inspections and tests are completed promptly to meet deadlines and prevent shipment delays.
- Supplier Site Inspections:
- Travel to supplier sites for on-site inspections when required.
- Must have own transportation for site visits.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Develop and maintain accurate quality control (QC) inspection and test reports.
- Other Duties:
- Carry out additional tasks assigned by your superior or management.
Job Requirements:
Educational Background:
- Diploma or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in using QC measuring equipment (e.g., digital calipers, micrometers).
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and the ability to interpret engineering drawings is an added advantage.
- Hands-on experience with 3D scopes is a plus.
- Familiarity with performing electrical functional testing.
- Experience with GR&R studies is required.
General Skills:
- Computer literate, with the ability to prepare detailed inspection and test reports.
- Able to communicate well in Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu and English.

- Good attitude and disciplined behaviour in the workplace.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel for supplier site inspections and own transport is required.
- Normal working hours from Monday to Friday.
- MUST able to work overtime on Saturdays as requested by management.
- Candidates who are available to commence employment on short notice will be given priority.
