To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to hire a Quality Manager located in Flex Port Tanjung Pelepas, Gelang Patah, Johor.

In this role, you will develop, implement, and coordinate product assurance programs to prevent or eliminate defects in new or existing products.

What a typical day looks like:

1. Researches, evaluates, and presents information concerning business situations, production capabilities, manufacturing problems, economic trends, and the design and development of new products for management consideration.
2. Suggests and debates alternative methods and procedures for solving problems and adapting to changing market opportunities.
3. Contributes with top management in formulating and establishing company policies, operating procedures, and goals.
4. Develops initial and subsequent modifications of the product assurance program, delineating areas of control, personnel requirements, and operational procedures.
5. Evaluates reports from department heads of the product assurance program and confers with top management to prepare fiscal budgets.
6. Conducts management meetings with department heads to review policies, coordinate functions, and establish controls for goal attainment.
7. Interfaces with customers on technical and quality issues and improvement initiatives.
8. Manages customer audits and regulatory/compliance agency audits.
9. Reviews technical problems and procedures, recommending solutions or procedural changes.
10. Visits vendors to assess supply quality, capacity, and standards.
11. Collaborates with engineers on quality assurance of new and existing products.
12. Stays updated on technical developments by reviewing publications and articles.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience and training.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems.
• Expert knowledge of quality functions and understanding of Flex and related business operations.
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and applicable regulations.
