Job Title: Quality Manager (Mandarin Speaking)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to lead our Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) teams. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of East Found’s logistics and storage products. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in quality control for metal fabrication, welding, surface treatment, and structural integrity testing. Additionally, Mandarin-speaking ability is required to communicate effectively with suppliers and stakeholders in China.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Quality Control

Oversee inspection, testing, and quality control processes for:

Bulk containers & wire containers (weld integrity, structure durability)

Roll cages & conveyor rollers (precision assembly, load performance)

Implement and maintain quality checkpoints from raw materials to finished products.

Monitor coating, painting, and galvanization processes to prevent defects and ensure longevity.

2. Quality Management System (QMS) & Compliance

Ensure compliance with ISO9001, ROHS, and international quality standards.

Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for quality inspections.

Lead internal and external quality audits.

3. Supplier Quality Assurance & Collaboration

Work with Chinese and local suppliers to ensure all materials meet technical and quality specifications.

Conduct supplier audits and assessments to maintain high sourcing standards.

4. Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving

Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions (CAPA) for defective products.

Implement Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies to improve production quality.

Reduce waste, rework, and customer complaints by optimizing quality control measures.

5. Team Management & Training

Lead and train QA/QC teams to ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.

Provide technical guidance on welding quality, load testing, and material selection.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in quality control within metal fabrication, logistics equipment, or industrial storage solutions.

Strong knowledge of ISO9001, ROHS, and international quality standards.

Experience in metal welding, surface treatment, corrosion resistance testing, and load-bearing assessments.

Mandarin-speaking ability is required to liaise with Chinese suppliers and stakeholders.

Familiarity with SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and CAPA implementation.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP/QMS software, and data analysis tools.
