Job Description

  1. Research, evaluate, and present information on business situations, production capabilities, manufacturing issues, economic trends, and new product development for management review.
  2. Suggest and debate alternative methods and procedures to solve problems and adapt to changing market opportunities.
  3. Assist top management in formulating and establishing company policies, operating procedures, and goals.
  4. Develop and update product assurance programs, defining control areas, personnel requirements, and operational procedures.
  5. Assess reports from product assurance department heads and collaborate with top management on fiscal budgeting for product assurance.
  6. Conduct management meetings with department heads to review policies, coordinate functions, and establish controls to meet goals.
  7. Interface with customers on technical and quality issues and lead improvement initiatives.
  8. Manage customer and regulatory audits.
  9. Review technical procedures and recommend improvements or procedural changes.
  10. Meet with vendors to assess supply quality, capacity, and standards.
  11. Collaborate with engineers on quality assurance for new and existing products.
  12. Stay updated on industry technical developments through publications and articles.

The Successful Applicant

  1. Diploma or Degree in any field.
  2. Minimum of 10 years' experience in Quality Management, preferably in electronics assembly within a multinational company.
  3. Strong knowledge of manufacturing quality systems and QC tools.
  4. Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  8. Quality Management certifications (e.g., CQE, CQA) are a plus.
  9. Experience with PCBA/SMT and people management.
  10. Ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively.
  11. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
