Job description

Quality Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive quality strategy aligned with organizational objectives to ensure product and service quality, compliance with standards, and regulations.

Quality Management System: Oversee the maintenance and continual improvement of the quality management system (QMS), including policies, procedures, and work instructions.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of quality professionals, supporting their responsibilities and fostering a culture of quality excellence.

Compliance and Certification: Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO, IATF 16949, and lead efforts to attain and sustain relevant certifications.

Quality Audits and Inspections: Plan and conduct internal and external audits to identify areas for improvement and verify compliance with quality standards.

Root Cause Analysis: Lead investigations into quality issues and customer complaints, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions.

Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with procurement and supplier teams to ensure supplier quality and performance, establishing a robust supplier quality program.

Continuous Improvement: Promote continuous improvement initiatives, including Six Sigma projects, to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze quality data and performance metrics, providing insights and reports for management review.

Customer Focus: Maintain a customer-centric approach, integrating customer feedback into quality processes to drive improvements.

Training and Development: Identify training needs within the team and facilitate programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate quality-related risks, developing strategies to prevent issues.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in quality management, including leadership roles.
  • Preferred certifications: ASQ CQE, Six Sigma Black Belt.
  • Deep knowledge of quality standards and methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Excellent project management and data analysis skills.
