About the role

As a Quality Management System Officer at ABLE-SPEED SDN. BHD.', you will play a vital role in ensuring the company's products and services meet the highest quality standards. This full-time position is based in Johor Bahru, Johor and will involve overseeing the implementation and maintenance of the company's quality management system.

What you'll be doing

· Ensure that QMS organization conforms to customer, internal, ISO standard, and regulatory/legal requirements.

· Monitor each department’s monthly objective and target.

· Responsible for internal, external and 3rd party audit.

· Stay up-to date with relevant laws, regulations and industry standards that apply to the company's operations.

· Assist in all regulatory activities and ensuring the compliance to QMS & EHS.

· Monitor implementation of internal ISO system and the follow up corrective and preventive activities.

· Liaise with government agencies/authorities such as DOSH/DOE/BOMBA/etc.

· To implement new procedures or system for the Company as and when necessary.

· Plan and implement continuous improvement programs and updates on safety program when necessary.

· Ensure document control are systematically implemented and prepare all types of document and its formats for any management system standards (i.e.: ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001)

· Establish and maintain controlled document/form master list identifying the current revision status of documents which are approved by management including procedures, work instructions, forms, and records required by management system.

· Responsible to prepare reports in complying management system, customers and regulatory requirements.

What we're looking for

Relevant tertiary qualification in a field such as Quality Assurance, Engineering or a related discipline

3-5 years' experience in a quality management or control role, preferably within the manufacturing industries

Strong understanding of quality management principles and methodologies, such as ISO 9001

Must be familiar with DOSH, DOE Act, rules, regulations and requirements. Certificate of CePSWaM (Certified Environmental Professional in Scheduled Waste Management) will be added advantage.

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation

Knowledge of relevant quality management regulations and industry best practices
