Job summary

Flex is seeking a Quality Supervisor located in Batu Kawan, Penang to supervise QA inspection activities on the manufacturing floor. You will quarantine and disposition nonconforming goods while ensuring policies are followed and quality goals are met.

You will assign staff, conduct audits, train inspectors, and coordinate with HR, finance and production to resolve quality issues. Strong data analysis and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Three years of related experience in QA supervision on a manufacturing floor.
• Expert functional, technical and people/process management skills.
• Ability to guide projects and business initiatives.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates QA inspection activities on the floor.
• Quarantines and dispositions nonconforming goods following policies.
• Assigns staff to achieve quality control goals and maintains staffing levels.
• Trains inspectors and guides shift personnel in QA processes.
• Interfaces with HR, finance and production on quality issues.
• Conducts process and sub-factory audits and implements corrective actions.
• Communicates with customers, vendors and internal teams on quality matters.
