Job summary

Emico Penang is seeking a Quality Inspector in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia to perform Incoming, In-Process and Outgoing inspections and to ensure product quality aligns with specifications and work instructions.

The role involves preparing inspection reports, conducting tests, and promptly reporting non-conformities to superiors. Candidates with SPM or at least 1 year of experience, and bilingual writing, are welcome.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least SPM or 1 year working experience.
• Able to write and communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

• Carry Incoming, In-Process and Outgoing Inspection activities to ensure product quality meets specifications per inspection/work instruction.
• Prepare Incoming, In-Process and Outgoing Inspection reports.
• Perform testing and evaluation according to inspection/work instruction.
• Ensure non-conforming reports are prepared and informed to superior for any defect.
• Identify and segregate on-hold or rejected goods with proper notes.
• Inform superior if any document does not match actual part and practice.
• Ensure ISO 9001 quality processes are implemented.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by superior.
• Experience in quality field is an added advantage.

• To carry Incoming, In-Process and Outgoing Inspection activities to ensure the quality of products meet specification as per stated in part inspection, work instruction or related document.
• To prepare Incoming, In-Process and Outgoing Inspection report.
• To perform testing and evaluation according to part inspection, work instruction or related document.
• To ensure non-conforming report is prepared and informed superior upon any defective part detected during Incoming, In-Process and Outgoing inspection process.
• To ensure on hold or rejected goods are properly identified and segregate with Rejection or On hold note.
• To inform superior if detected any part inspection, work instruction or related document not correspondence with actual part and practice.
• To ensure all quality related process established based on ISO 9001 is implemented accordingly.
• To carry out other duties and responsibilities assigned by superior.

Working experience:

• Experience quality field is an added advantage.

Education and qualification:

• Must possess at least SPM or 1 years working experience.
• Able to write and communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
