Job summary

Haemonetics Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a quality-focused inspector to perform inspections, sampling, and testing of incoming materials, parts, and components used in manufacturing medical devices. The role requires adherence to GMP, accurate documentation, and on-line quality checks to ensure product quality across production stages.

The ideal candidate has a minimum SPM or a science-related diploma, with experience in inspection activities or production processes, and the ability to work

Responsibilities

• Follow a statistical sampling plan to assess product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
• Physically test all components, including dimensional testing, weight, and appearance as required.
• Promptly document findings on batch documents with accuracy.
• Investigate and report discrepancies; sample incoming raw materials and components.
• Responsible for all on-line quality inspections.
• Review Device History Records and other documentation for GMP compliance.
• Perform other tasks as required.

Job description

Responsible to perform the inspections, checks, test, and sampling procedures of the incoming materials, parts and components used in the manufacture of the medical devices, partially assembled or finished medical devices.

Key responsibilities

Follow a statistical sampling plan to assess product quality throughout the manufacturing process.

Physical testing of all components, to include dimensional testing, weight and appearance as required.

Promptly and accurately document findings on appropriate batch documents.

Investigate and report discrepancies. Sample incoming raw material chemicals and components.

Responsible for all on-line quality inspections.

Perform review of Device History Records and other documentation for compliance to established procedures and Good Documentation Practices.

Perform other tasks as required.

Requirements

Minimum SPM qualification with relevant manufacturing experience, or a Diploma in a Science-related field.

Knowledge of GMP and quality inspection processes would be an added advantage.

Willingness and ability to work on shifts.

Relevant experience in inspection activities or production processes.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate a strong commitment to quality.
