Job summary
A leading aerospace company is seeking a Quality Engineering Manager to oversee quality engineering activities related to internal and customer requirements. The role involves leading cross-functional teams, managing quality systems, and ensuring product compliance. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology and at least 5 years of management experience in quality management systems.

- Experience in aircraft manufacturing processes is an advantage.

Responsibilities:
- Leads, plans and directs all quality engineering activities related to both internal and customer requirements.
- Ensure the effective implementation of both engineering and customer requirements.
- Executes and implements quality systems to address customer requirements and feedback.
- Works closely with customers to resolve quality issues and returns, leads all activities related to the formal response to both management and the customer, and serves as the primary contact with the customer throughout the systematic problem-solving process.
- Conducts ongoing reviews of product performance and process data, and provides recommendations for improvement.
- Maintains open lines of communication and serves as a liaison between corporate staff, plant personnel, customers, and suppliers regarding all quality issues within the plant.
- Manage product non-conformance through the MRB processes.
- Plans, organizes, and oversees the efforts of departmental personnel and continuous improvement activities.
- Conducts and/or arranges training for departmental personnel in accordance with their overall responsibilities within the company’s quality function
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any engineering or technology field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role, with a proven track record of success in Quality Management Systems and continuous improvement projects
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing work transfers
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- Experience in aircraft manufacturing processes and APQP is an advantage
