A leading technology company in Malaysia is seeking a Quality Engineer to oversee supplier development and quality assurance. The role requires at least a Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering fields and proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Malay. Supplier Quality Engineering Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in new supplier development reviews and annual reviews.
- Provide on-site guidance to suppliers regarding material anomalies, follow up on the implementation of improvement and course improvement plans, follow up on corrective and preventive measures, and respond to supplier SCARs.
- Handle MRBs for incoming materials, processes, and customer defective materials.
- Prepare monthly quality reports, maintain KPI statistics, conduct quality supervision meetings, and follow up on supplier improvement results.
- Apply new products, sign commitment letters, evaluate samples, and develop incoming material inspection standards.
- Revise relevant work instructions.
- Prepare and implement training materials for suppliers and IQC personnel.
- Provide regular feedback to the operations manager regarding performance and implement changes when issues arise.
- Other projects or tasks as assigned by superiors.
Customer Quality Engineer Job Responsibilities:
- Handling and assessing on-site anomalies.
- Responding to and investigating customer complaints, promoting internal improvements.
- Replacing products due to customer complaints, creating and distributing customer complaint records, and conducting training and promotional activities.
- Approving process inspection instructions, creating and uploading final inspection instructions and packaging inspection guidelines for new products.
- Conducting new product approval and transfer meetings, identifying inspection standards for new products and new customers.
- Responding to customer on-site audits and reports.
- Providing regular feedback to the operations manager regarding performance and implementing changes when issues occur.
- Other projects or tasks as assigned by superiors.
Job Requirement:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management / Business Administration / Industrial Engineering / Electronic Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering.
- Positive attitude to learn.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Required languages: Mandarin, English, Malay. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Able to work independently.
- Good problem‑solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.
- Preferences will be given to candidates who have experience in quality control.
