Job description

We are currently looking for a Quality Engineer for a leading player in the Mechanical Manufacturing Industry with a legacy of more than 20 years in the world. This position requires your urgent attention.

• Reporting to: Quality Manager
• Based in Selangor

• Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure products meet specified standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and tests of materials and finished products using various measuring tools to detect defects or deviations from quality standards.
• Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities. Prepare reports on quality performance and improvements for management review.
• Coordinate with suppliers and customers to address quality-related concerns and ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and manufacturing processes, such as lean manufacturing and Six Sigma projects.
• Ensure that all quality control activities comply with industry standards and company policies.

the experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably within metal stamping, PCBA, or precision manufacturing industries.
• Proficient in operating quality measurement tools, with solid knowledge of quality control methodologies including SPC and FMEA.
• Strong communication skills in English and Malay, with proficiency in Mandarin highly preferred.
