Responsibilities
  • Handle all quality excursions, take effective actions and follow proper escalation
  • Support and follow up the product & material quality from NPI to mass production (FAI, IP, WI, etc.). This includes following industry specific protocols as required
  • Assist to create the quality control plan for respective area (material/process/product)
  • Analyze, monitor and report quality KPI for internal (factory) and external (customer). KPI metrics include RFPY, OBA, RMA, DPQL, customer feedback, LRR, RI Flag, and WWQA
  • Drive continuous improvement to benefit customer, CLS and supplier
  • Draft internal quality system procedures, work instructions and workmanship standards
  • Assist process/product/system/supplier audit and improvement actions follow up. Include Industry standards (e.g., ISO), compliance audits and safety audits
  • Follow up theEC (Engineering Change) and SPCN (Supplier Process Change Notification) to ensure timely and accurate implementation of changes (initiated both externally and internally)
  • Enhance quality skills and product knowledge through the training program
  • Accomplish job assignments from the superior and participate in the quality strategy deployment
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies
  • Knowledge of quality tools, ISO and IPC standards and processes
  • Knowledge of software used for generating reports and presenting data clearly
  • Know-how of manufacturing processes and quality tools such as FMEA, PMP, SPC, 8D methodology
  • Understanding of Six Sigma and Lean Kaizen
  • Awareness of how business decisions affect customer satisfaction, product quality, on-time delivery and unit profitability
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Physical Demands
  • Repetitive manual movements (e.g., keyboarding)
  • Sustained visual concentration on monitors and numbers
  • Normal office environment with no undue exposure to noise, odours, dust, drafts, etc.
Experience
  • 4 to 6 years (2-4 years)
