About the role

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join the team at Mech Power Generator Sdn Bhd. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance within our manufacturing processes. This is a full-time position based in Senai Johor.

What you'll be doing

1. Conducting regular audits and inspections to identify and address quality issues
2. Analysing quality data and providing detailed reports to management on quality performance and improvement opportunities
3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality-related problems
4. Providing training and guidance to production staff on quality standards and best practices
5. Staying up-to-date with industry regulations and quality standards, and ensuring the company's compliance
6. Participating in the development and improvement of quality management systems

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
2. Minimum 1 year of experience as a Quality Engineer or in a similar quality assurance role within the manufacturing or logistics industry
3. Strong understanding of quality control techniques, statistical process control, and root cause analysis
4. Proficient in using quality management software and data analysis tools
5. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
7. Familiarity with industry regulations and quality standards, such as ISO 9001
