Job description

The opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team at LION HYGIENIC MATERIALS (MALAYSIA) SDN BHD in Senai, Johor. As a full-time Quality Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our manufacturing processes and products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control procedures and processes to uphold strict quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and tests of raw materials, production processes, and finished goods to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Complete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) within target timelines and meet customer requirements.
• Support new product qualifications by identifying potential issues and collaborating on improvements and corrective actions.
• Develop Product Control Plans (PCP), review production and QC processes, and ensure quality control measures are in place and followed.
• Lead regular quality meetings, coordinate with internal teams on corrective actions, and verify their implementation and effectiveness.
• Participate in internal and external audits.
• Analyze quality data and generate reports to monitor and enhance quality performance.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and internal quality policies.
• Train and guide production staff on best practices for quality control.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
