Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Semiconductor Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is currently seeking applicants for a Quality Engineer. Responsible for assigned area and ensuring maintaining, monitoring, managing and compliance, driving continuous improvement, and supporting audit readiness for Calibration, ESD and Document Control and other related tasks.

Job Location:

This position will be located at Krubong, Melaka in a vibrant industrial area. You will experience exciting different local cultures in this historical state. Nearby are malls and various restaurants. It is also close to recreation parks and a stadium.

What you will be doing:

• Responsible for quality KPIs for area of responsibility as assigned by supervisor.
• Coordinate with internal users and external calibration vendors, maintain and execute the calibration program for all measuring equipment and ensure record are complete, accurate and audit ready.
• Conduct ESD audit/inspection of production and lab areas etc; maintain and enforce the ESD control program in line with company specific standards.
• Coordinate document change requests and ensure proper documentation. Manage the document control system and ensure controlled documents are reviewed, aproved and updated per change control procedures. Support internal and external audits with up to date documentation.
• Drive cross functional teams to continuously improve quality KPI for calibration, ESD compliance and document control.

What you will bring along:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics / Mechanical / Science or other Engineering related course.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in semiconductor environment.
• Basic knowledge in measurement technique and calibration technique.
• Knowledge of ESD and measuring method Audit skill.
• Knowledge in Quality Management system.
• Soft skill: Able to communicate with cross functional teams, documentation, problem-solving, and teamwork
