Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Quality Director to lead the quality assurance function across multiple international manufacturing sites. This is a confidential, high-impact leadership role for a seasoned quality executive with a track record of excellence in electronics manufacturing, regulatory compliance, and quality systems development.

Responsibilities:

• Define, develop, and execute global quality strategies and frameworks that align with corporate objectives.
• Provide leadership and oversight for the quality assurance teams and systems across facilities.
• Champion compliance with international standards (e.g., ISO, IPC, IATF) and customer-specific quality requirements through structured audits and robust systems.
• Manage and enhance the company’s Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring ongoing effectiveness and readiness for internal/external audits.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to resolve systemic issues, drive root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Oversee supplier quality performance, working closely with procurement and engineering to ensure material and component integrity.
• Act as the primary escalation point for customer quality issues, driving timely resolution and building trust through transparent communication and continuous improvement.
• Use data analytics to monitor quality KPIs and trends, generating actionable insights for operational and product excellence.
• Embed a culture of quality ownership and continuous improvement, using proven quality tools and lean manufacturing principles.
• Stay informed on industry best practices and regulatory changes, integrating new approaches where applicable.

Requirement:

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in quality leadership roles.
• Proven track record in multi-site quality oversight, including operations in Asia.
• In-depth knowledge of quality systems, auditing standards, and compliance frameworks.
• Strong command of QC tools, SPC, Six Sigma, and lean methodologies.
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Highly analytical and structured, with a focus on problem-solving and strategic execution.
• Quality certifications (e.g., CQE, CQA, Lead Auditor) are highly desirable.
