Job Description
- Develop and implement quality assurance strategies and policies to meet company objectives.
- Oversee the quality assurance functions across our facilities in Malaysia and China.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and certifications.
- Oversee the activity of the quality assurance department and staff, developing, implementing, and maintaining quality for the organization's products and/or development processes.
- Lead a team of quality assurance professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address quality issues.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), conducting regular audits to ensure conformance.
- Implement and maintain the ISO systems (and any other quality management systems required for the manufacturing of products in accordance with customer's requirements) with regular internal and external audits to ensure conformance with quality standards as well as health and safety.
- Work closely with customers for any quality complaints and work out corrective and preventive actions accordingly.
- Responsible for supplier quality management, ensuring that all suppliers meet the company's quality standards and requirements.
- Analyze data and generate reports on quality metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, advancements, and regulatory changes.
The Successful Applicant
- Diploma or Degree holder from any field.
- At least 15 years of experience in Quality Management, with exposure to electronics assembly operations in a multinational company.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing quality systems and QC tools.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in Quality Management (e.g., CQE, CQA) is a plus
