A leading company in the food sector is seeking a Quality Control Executive to ensure product compliance with quality standards and certifications. The role involves conducting inspections, managing quality control processes, and collaborating with the QA team. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in Food Science and at least 1 year of relevant experience, coupled with strong communication skills.
Assist QA/QC HOD to implement the company QA/QC system.
Ensure products adhere to company and regulatory quality standards, such as MESTI and Halal certifications.
Conduct routine inspections, FIFO and FEFO of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
Assist QC team members with their tasks and provide support during audits and inspections.
Monitor manufacturing processes.
Develop new quality control methods and procedures.
Maintain traceability records for batches of products.
Supervise and perform inspection of all new and incoming materials, ensuring they meet requirements.
Perform daily checks on incoming and outgoing materials and finished goods quality.
Support investigations into hygiene standards and non-compliance issues.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Diploma in Food Science or related field, or Degree in a food-related discipline, with related experience in Quality Assurance/Control.
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in the food industry.
Basic knowledge of quality assurance and control principles.
Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
