Job description

Quality Control Officer (Bakery Production)

Inspecting output samples using industry-appropriate methods, such as comparing to standards and measuring dimensions.

Checking that the processing method adheres to standards and procedures and complying with government requirements.

Reviewing specifications to compare to produced goods.

Recording inspection results by completing reports, wastes and inputting data into quality database.

Proposing improvements to the production process.

Monitoring the use of method to ensure it is safe and discard any that do not meet requirements.

Carrying out quality control activities by performing quality control checks on incoming, final, and outgoing inspections for raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished goods.

Performing label and packaging activities for all finished goods.

Highlighting quality defects to the head of department and respective departments whenever necessary.

Preparing and updating QC inspection records.

Adhering to all written and verbal instructions given by supervisors, managers, and the head of department at all times.

Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized work area.

Performing other related duties as assigned from time to time by the head of department.

Requirements

Must have:

Diploma in Food Technologies or equivalent.

Required languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia.

Must have typhoid injection card.

Willing to do shift work.

Ability to work independently.

Tolerance to working in an environment containing flour dust.

Ability to handle multiple assignments in a team environment.

Knowledge of Food Safety, Regulatory, and Quality Systems and their application within food processing.

Good to have:

Knowledgeable in Halal, GMP, HACCP, and related certifications in food industries.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From RM2,000.00 per month
