Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Quality Control Inspector in Shah Alam to inspect in-process products and finished goods in accordance with specifications and sampling plans. You will perform visual, dimensional, and functional checks, record results, and report defects promptly.

The role requires reading and following work instructions, knowledge of quality standards and inspection tools, and willingness to work shifts, OT, or weekends.

Qualifications

• SPM or Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of QC/inspection/production experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of quality standards and inspection tools is an advantage.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Willing to work shifts, overtime, or weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect in-process products, and finished goods according to specifications, work instructions, and sampling plans.
• Perform basic visual, dimensional, and functional checks using approved measuring tools and gauges.
• Record inspection results accurately and submit quality data, reports, and logs on time.
• Identify defects, abnormal results, and non-conforming materials, and report them to the superior immediately.
• Support segregation, labeling, and control of rejected or suspect materials.
• Assist with sample testing, product checks when required.
• Maintain cleanliness, order, and proper handling of inspection tools, records, and QC work areas.
• Follow safety, quality, and company procedures at all times.
• Support calibration checks, equipment verification, and simple quality documentation activities when assigned.
• Work with Production and QC team members to resolve routine quality issues and support continuous improvement activities.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the superior.
• Monitor and having a data entry work to the in-house ERP system for daily inspection results and quality control data.
• To support inventory activities checking during end of every months.
