Job summary

HICOM-Teck See is seeking a quality control inspector in Malaysia to perform startup inspections, sampling checks, and preparation of the first piece production sample. The role includes holding back nonconforming parts, sorting or reworking at customer sites, and maintaining daily/weekly rejection reports.

Candidate should have a diploma or certificate in QC/Manufacturing or related field, with attention to detail and ability to read drawings and work instructions.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Quality Control, Manufacturing, Engineering or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; experience in QC/QA or manufacturing is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of quality inspection, measurement tools and production processes.
• Able to use basic measuring instruments such as vernier caliper, micrometer and gauges.
• Good attention to detail and able to identify defects and quality issues.
• Able to read and understand basic drawings, specifications and work instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to work shifts, overtime and weekends when required.
• Responsible, disciplined and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform startup inspection and testing, sampling inspection at defined interval frequency.
• To prepare the first piece production sample.
• To holdback and quarantine nonconforming parts identified through part inspection process.
• Perform sorting or rework at customer premises as requested by his/her superior.
• To prepare and update daily and weekly rejection report.
• To maintain good housekeeping in his/her work area.
