Job description

Responsibilities & Duties:-

• Develop and implement project-specific Quality Control Plans.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with applicable standards and specifications.
• Coordinate and supervise third-party inspections and testing.
• Review and approve construction materials, ensuring they meet quality standards and project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation such as inspection test plans (ITP), method statements, checklists, and NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).
• Identify and report non-conformities, recommend corrective actions, and verify their implementation.
• Ensure that construction works are carried out to the required quality standards and coordinate with the QA/QC team and consultants/clients as needed.
• Assist in internal and external audits.
• Provide quality-related training and guidance to project staff and subcontractors.
• Monitor the calibration and maintenance of quality-related equipment.
• Generate regular reports on QC performance.

Requirements:-

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience (3years and above) in QC roles within the construction industry.
• Sound knowledge of construction materials, testing procedures, and relevant standards.
• Familiar with QA/QC systems and procedures.
