Job summary

Pathgreen Energy Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quality Assurance / Quality Control Engineer to support quality control for residential Solar PV installation projects. This is mainly an office‑based role reviewing installation photos, videos, checklists, and project documents to ensure work meets company standards and ISO requirements.

You will monitor installation activities, verify compliance with drawings, and maintain QC trackers while collaborating with installers and project teams to resolve issues

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Solar PV, electrical, construction, QA/QC.
• Basic knowledge of Solar PV installation and electrical drawings.
• Good attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Good communication and follow‑up skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review photos and videos of Solar PV installation work.
• Check installation progress against standards, drawings, and project requirements.
• Verify installation of PV modules, inverter, cabling, earthing, mounting structures, labeling, and finishing.
• Identify incomplete, incorrect, or non-compliant installation work.
• Review project checklists, forms, testing records, and handover documents.
• Ensure the correct and latest ISO/QMS forms and procedures are followed.
• Check that project documents are complete, accurate, and properly approved.
• Record and follow up on QC issues and non‑conformance.
• Assist with NCR, corrective action, and ISO audit documentation.
• Maintain QC trackers and project records.
• Communicate with installers and project teams to resolve quality issues.
• Suggest improvements to QC processes and documentation.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction, Renewable Energy, or a related field.

Experience or knowledge in QA/QC, ISO 9001, or Quality Management Systems is an advantage.

1–3 years of experience in Solar PV, electrical, construction, QA/QC, or related fields.

Basic knowledge of Solar PV installation and electrical systems.

Able to read basic electrical or Solar PV drawings.

Good attention to detail and documentation skills.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Good communication and follow‑up skills.

Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
