Responsibilities

• Develop product specifications and quality standards for materials and products.
• Record specifications and update the system with key production parameters (PSS).
• Maintain the Labelling database and verify customer details.
• Identify and quantify on-hold products, analyze root causes and reduce recurrence risk.
• Qualify and document disposition for on-hold items and communicate status to production and shipping.
• Identify product issues/defects and propose repeatable solutions.
• Liaise with customers to agree acceptance levels and document non-conformances.
• Establish procedures for production team quality training and implementation.
• Communicate quality standards to QC, production, and staff as required.
• Set criteria for new product development and product testing (trials).
• Prepare samples for dispatch and match with testing results.
• Guard special production tools (blades, knives, measuring devices).
• Plan waste reduction or reuse initiatives in production.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
