Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to lead and oversee the implementation of academic quality and compliance frameworks across the university. This role plays a key part in ensuring our institution adheres to regulatory standards, improves academic performance, and enhances operational excellence.
Quality & Compliance Management:
Ensure all academic and operational practices comply with the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE), and other relevant authorities.
Audit & Accreditation:
Lead internal and external audit preparations, manage MQA documentation, and oversee program accreditation and re-accreditation processes.
Policy Development:
Develop, review, and refine quality assurance policies, procedures, and manuals to support academic excellence and operational consistency.
Monitoring & Evaluation:
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), oversee course reviews, and support SETARA and MyRA rating exercises. Provide strategic recommendations for continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as a key liaison with regulatory bodies and collaborate with internal stakeholders—including deans, faculty, and operations teams—to ensure quality standards are met and maintained.
Training & Capacity Building:
Conduct workshops and training to enhance staff understanding of quality assurance practices, regulatory requirements, and internal standards.
Strategic Support:
Assist senior management in strategic planning, performance improvement initiatives, and special projects related to academic quality and institutional development.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Quality Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Certifications: Training in MQA/MQF frameworks, ISO 9001 auditing, or internal quality audits (e.g., IRCA-certified) is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in higher education quality assurance or academic compliance.
Familiar with MQA policies, ISO quality systems, and national audit requirements.
Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
Experience in managing audits, accreditation processes, and policy writing is essential.
