Job summary

UPECA Malaysia seeks a Quality Assurance professional to lead the QA function, driving process improvements and APQP/PFMEA activities. You will coordinate FAIRs, NCRs, MRB actions, and audits to ensure product conformance.

The role requires collaboration across departments to maintain robust control plans and respond effectively to customer quality concerns. Based in Selangor, it is a full-time position.

Qualifications

• 3 years of quality control experience in manufacturing or aerospace.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership with ability to build disciplined culture.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate First Article Inspection activity and preparation of FAIR submissions.
• Maintain FAIRs and FAIR logs in server.
• Coordinate customer complaints and respond in a timely manner.
• Drive MRB for customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Notify customers of suspected escapes and take timely actions.
• Coordinate customer and product audits; liaise and gather CAR replies till closure.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Ensure NCRs are closed in a timely manner.
• Establish and update Control Plan; chair meetings.
• Coordinate PPAP submission and customer approval.
• Involve in APQP activities and PFMEA maintenance.
• Provide insights to QC Manager on technical details with multiple teams.
• Perform gap analysis on quality processes.
• Coordinate CCB meetings to flow down quality requirements.
• Ensure Quality Systems and Procedures are adhered.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Quality Manager.
