Job Description:

Work Location: IOI City, Putrajaya

Work Arrangement: Fully onsite, Monday to Friday (5 days a week)

Experience Requirements:

  • Experienced: 2–6 years as a QA Lead, coordinating QA analyst teams and practicing Agile methodologies across various projects.

  • Senior: Over 6 years as a QA Lead or QA Manager on strategic initiatives, managing one or multiple testing teams, with strong knowledge of development processes and automation testing.

Preferred Industry Experience: Finance, banking, or insurance.

Academic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent learning paths (e.g., Bootcamps).

  • Certifications: ISTQB (mandatory), ITIL (advantageous).

Technical Skills:

  • Test strategy and methodology definition.

  • Project management and SDLC methodologies.

  • Fundamentals of Information Security & Risk Management.

  • Practical experience with SDLC frameworks.

  • Proficiency with MS Office, Jira, and test management tools (e.g., Squash TM, ALM).

  • Knowledge of fund distribution, fund accounting, banking, or custody services.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.

  • Ability to prioritize, make decisions, and solve complex issues.

  • Proactive, collaborative, and autonomous with strong leadership capabilities.

  • Client-focused, results-driven, and able to facilitate workshops and chair meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and establish test strategies for allocated projects.

  • Manage test activities in line with company's Quality Engineering practices.

  • Ensure test objectives are met through thorough test case preparation, execution, and tracking.

  • Coordinate QA analyst and automation team deliveries.

  • Review, challenge, and report on QA artifacts, including estimations, test strategies, schedules, execution, defect tracking, and UAT coordination.

  • Ensure adherence to applicable testing methodologies and frameworks.

  • Prepare test execution reports and secure approvals/sign-offs.

  • Define test environments and support requirements, ensuring readiness.

  • Facilitate escalation, prioritization, and resolution of testing issues.

  • Administer projects within test repository tools (e.g., Squash TM).

  • Drive automation of complex functional test cases across the application lifecycle, including continuous testing.

  • Build rapport with stakeholders, business partners, and team members from initiation to project closure.

  • Resolve conflicts proactively and escalate as necessary.
