• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of QA experience, preferably in the fresh food or vegetable processing industry
• Knowledge of food safety certifications and quality systems (e.g., HACCP, ISO, HALAL, MESTI)
• Experience in managing production environments and staff scheduling is advantageous
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin is a plus
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance and control policies and procedures
• Support daily QA operations to ensure product quality standards are met
• Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards (e.g., HACCP, HALAL, MESTI, SFA)
• Conduct audits and inspections of production processes, hygiene, and facilities
• Investigate quality issues and assist with corrective and preventive actions
• Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to resolve quality concerns
• Analyze quality data for continuous improvement
• Prepare and present quality reports to management
• Mentor and train QA staff, including performance monitoring

Additional Responsibilities

• Plan daily work schedules for production staff
• Manage customer orders for accuracy and timeliness
• Conduct hygiene checks and ensure cleanliness standards
• Coordinate manpower and monitor workflow
• Maintain communication between QA, production, and logistics
• Ensure documentation and traceability of activities
