Job summary

A leading healthcare organization in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to enhance its compliance and quality standards. The successful candidate will develop and monitor quality assurance systems, conduct audits, and train staff while ensuring alignment with industry standards. Candidates should hold at least a diploma or degree in a relevant field and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, alongside experience in healthcare quality assurance.

Qualifications

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in healthcare quality assurance.
  • Familiarity with Malaysian Ministry of Health (MOH) standards and ISO 9001.
  • Able to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor the clinic's quality assurance and improvement systems.
  • Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with HODs to refine KPIs and generate reports.

Job description

Qualifications:

  • Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in healthcare quality assurance, clinical compliance, or regulatory roles.
  • Familiarity with Malaysian Ministry of Health (MOH) standards, ISO 9001, and related standards.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, problem-solving skills, and a neutral, fair attitude.
  • Good interpersonal skills; able to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and monitor the clinic’s quality assurance and improvement systems.
  2. Review, update, and draft internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to align with latest practices.
  3. Assist in preparing for external audits.
  4. Monitor and investigate patient feedback, incident reports, and non-conformities; discuss, propose, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  5. Conduct regular internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with SOPs and quality standards.
  6. Collaborate with HODs to develop or refine KPIs for quality and performance evaluation, and generate reports for management review.
  7. Work with clinical and non-clinical HODs and the Training Department to provide relevant training to employees.
