Overview

Dodo Vegan Hut (M) Sdn Bhd is a plant-based food product manufacturer located in Batu Kawan-Penang, Malaysia. The company is KKM MeSTI and JAKIM Halal Certified, ensuring the adherence to strict food regulatory guidelines in its production processes.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a QA Halal Supervisor/ Executive at Dodo Vegan Hut (M) Sdn Bhd located in Batu Kawan - Simpang Empat, Penang. The QA Halal Supervisor/ Executive will be responsible for quality assurance, quality management, and food technology related tasks on a day-to-day basis. The role also would require an active participation in operation work including production and packaging.

Qualifications

• Possess a Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Halal Food Management, or a related discipline.
• Certified Halal Executive preferred
• Interest in Halal Food Management and Food Manufacturing.
• Strong inclination towards Quality Assurance and Quality Management
• Knowledge of Food Technology will be considered an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.

Other Requirements

• Willingness to learn and ability to contribute to the development and implementation of new processes for continuous improvement.
• Meticulous with strong attention to detail and analytical capability.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team in frozen food product manufacturing environment.
• Able to travel to on-site work location in Batu-Kawan, Penang.
